VIDEO: Happy Birthday Flippy Flappy Interactive Card

Hi friends! Today I have a fun interactive card to share with you today. This is featuring the Flippy Flappy Interactive die from Lawn Fawn. It also so happens to be my husband’s birthday (13th) so this was perfect timing. He really enjoys the interactive cards.

I have a video walking you through the process that you can view down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

I explain all the products and colors used on the card so I will just quickly go through a few things here on my blog.

I’m using the stamp set Really High Five stamped in Jet Black ink and colored with copic markers. As always, I have the copic color combos listed at the top of the screen in my video.

The background is created using the Lots of Hearts Stencil and blended on with Guava, Fake Tan and Sunflower ink from Lawn Fawn.

I set the scene by cutting some grass using the Grassy Border die from Cilantro cardstock and lightly blending on Noble Fir ink towards the top.

I created the flippy flappy mechanism from 110 lb cardstock and added behind my scene. When you pull the tab, this mouse pops out right in the center of the party! Super cute right?!

I finished it off with a simple Happy Birthday sentiment from Wavy Sayings, heat embossed in white onto black cardstock using the Simple Wavy Banners die.

This went together a lot easier then I thought it would and it’s so fun!

Hi, Mindy – I am still intimidated to buy / use the Flippy Flappy die set. But I’m one step closer w/ every video I see. A video from you gives me the feeling of “I can do this!” Thanks for the inspiration and the shot of vicarious confidence!
Happy Bday (belatedly – sorry, I had to watch this on the 14th) to your hubby. When is YOUR birthday?
