For this version of the card, I created a cozy fall scene with a tree as the focal point. The door is cleverly hidden right in the trunk, and when it opens, it reveals a delightful surprise image tucked inside—perfect for adding an interactive element that feels magical.
I used warm autumn tones for the leaves and background to capture that crisp, colorful fall feeling, while keeping the hidden image playful and unexpected. It’s such a fun way to combine a seasonal theme with the joy of a little interactive surprise for anyone opening the card.
For added interest, I used patterned paper for the tree and then blended inks directly onto it to enhance texture and depth. This technique brings the tree to life, giving it a more dimensional, natural look while still keeping it playful and whimsical.
