Today I’m sharing a clean and simple Christmas card that is full of color and holiday cheer! If you’re in a pinch and need to create a few last-minute holiday cards, this design is a great option. It’s also a fantastic way to use up some of those cardstock scraps we all seem to collect!
Projects like this are a wonderful excuse to dig into that scrap pile and put those leftover pieces to good use. You might even discover some fun color combinations you wouldn’t normally think to try!
For my card, I’m featuring the Flourish Tree die from the Joy For You release. I chose a playful mix of red, pink, yellow, and two shades of light green to create a colorful collection of Christmas trees. I love how these unexpected colors give the design a fresh, modern feel while still keeping that festive holiday spirit.

Each tree is popped up for a little dimension and arranged across a landscape A2 card front. By allowing the trees to slightly overlap and stretch across the card, they create a fun, continuous design that really lets those beautiful colors shine.
To finish things off, I added a greeting from the Joy For You stamp and die set. The coordinating die makes it easy to create a perfectly cut sentiment, which I placed right in the center of the card over the trees.
I absolutely love how this card turned out! It’s simple, colorful, and a little different from traditional Christmas designs. You could easily recreate this idea using whatever cardstock colors you have on hand, making every card unique. It’s also a great design for creating multiple cards without spending hours on each one.
I hope this project inspires you to pull out those cardstock scraps and create something colorful for the holidays!
