Are you loving this new release from C.C. Designs?! I definitely am!! How stinkin cute are these gals?! I hope you had a chance to check out my release video and card share – if not it will be listed down below the post.
My card today I really had some fun with stencils. I have been really enjoying creating unique backgrounds for my images.
I started out by coloring up my image with copic markers. I also stamped her on a piece of red polka dot patterned paper. I cut out the one I colored with my Scan n Cut Machine and I fussy cut (yuck) the outfit from the patterned paper. I attached it to my colored piece and just lightly added some copic markers to add depth to clothes.
For my background, I stenciled this brick wall. How cool is that?! I tried to fade it as I got closer to the sides. I added this to my matted base. Next I cut a stitched border from white cardstock. The sentiment strip and stitched border are both from My Favorite Things. My little rockabilly girl I added with some squares and to finish it off I added a couple black Nuvo Drops.
I hope you enjoyed this card – I think it’s one of my favorites !
