Hey friends! Today’s card project is creating a Halloween background with the Pretty Pink Posh Layered Candy Corn stencil.
Are you team candy corn? I am for about 6 pieces lol …. but I think it’s adorable on cards and totally screams Halloween.
VIDEO
I have a video that you can watch down below or HERE on my Youtube channel walking you through the process of the card.
Even if you are not into Halloween cards, I hope you’ll still check out the video as you may still find some useful tips along the way.

I used distress oxides to color in my candy corn, including Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin and Antique Linen.
I die cut the Spider Web from white card stock and Pixie Dust card stock and layered together.

The pop of black for the sentiment is just what this card needs. The sentiment comes from the Halloween Critters stamp set that I heat embossed with white embossing powder.

I added the stenciled panel to a piece of Tangerine Twist card stock to really pull the orange color from the card.

Hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration. Thanks for stopping by!
You’ll be seeing more of me very soon!
