Big Thanks!

Welcome everyone! Today I’m sharing some Thank You cards I created just in time for the end of the school year.

I am starting out my card by stamping the Lovely Blossoms Turnabout stamp from Concord & 9th onto Neenah White card stock 80 lb with the Glacier Caves Ink set from Altenew. Altenew inks are great for layering but they also work perfectly for Turnabout stamp sets. I didn’t have to focus on which colors looks good together because Altenew ink sets did the work for me.

I trimmed my panel down to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and die cut the Big Thanks from it. I love the unique way the letters are arranged in the die. For one card, I added foam tape to the back of my panel and attached to a notecard I created from Moonstone card stock.

For my card below, I went ahead and die cut the Big Thanks two more times from white card stock and layered together with Gina K Designs Connect Glue.

I added my stacked piece to a note card created from Fog card stock.

My sentiment is from the amazing stamp set Good Job Mama from Simon Says Stamp/CZ Design. I stamped my sentiment in embossing ink onto Moonstone cardstock and heat embossed with White embossing powder. I used the Sentiment Labels die to cut out this perfect this strip.

I added the sentiment strip to the top of my letters using the Connect Glue.

This is just the start of all the thank you cards I’ll need for the end of the year but this Big Thanks die will sure make it easy for me!

This blue color combination is such a striking color!

I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration!

Nuvo Glitter Paste – 7 Kids Your Crafting Supply Store

Happy Hello!!! I have a gorgeous card to share today for 7 Kids Your Crafting Supply Store. I have been doing a little playing with the Nuvo glitter paste – it is so stunning in person! It’s really hard to capture it on camera but I did my best.
I started off by stamping my flower from Concord & 9th stamp You Are Here. I colored it with my copics markers and cut it out with my Scan N Cut machine. This flower would look stunning in any color!
Next I started on my background. I adhered a striped stencil down to my cardstock with some painters tape so it doesn’t slide out of place. Using a small spatula I started to spread a layer of the Nuvo Glitter paste onto my project. Once I was satisfied with the amount of glitter paste on my project, I removed the stencil and quickly washed off my spatula and stencil. Don’t let it sit because the glitter  will stick to the stencil.
I let the background sit for a few hours (actually 5 hours by the time I was able to get back to it lol) … and started to put my project together.  My base is 5″ x 5″ so I trimmed the stencil piece down to 4 3/4″ x 4 3/4″ so there was a little border of white. I love how this glitter paste looks on the dark cardstock. It’s almost iridescent! In the picture above, you can actually see the blue. I stamped my sentiment on a small strip of white cardstock, lined everything up and adhered together.
Flower – R37, YR09-07-16
Leaves – YG01-05-09

I have a fun card share video of this to give more of an idea of how the card looks and the products used. Enjoy!
