Froggie Slider Card – C.C. Designs

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I’m kicking off your Monday with a fun slider card using products from C.C. Designs.
Slider cards are so fun to make and everyone I’ve ever given one to just loves them! I am using quite a few dies from C.C. Designs but it goes together pretty east.
I start off by ink blending all my cardstock that I need. I used Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover Distress Oxide and die cut my grass from it using the Garden Die. I also used Faded Denim, Mermaid Lagoon and Twisted Citron for my pond and cut that out from the Winter Borders die. This will set the scene for my card. Next, I take a piece of white cardstock measuring 3 3/4″ x 5″ and stencil on some clouds with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide.
Before I glue anything down, I can go ahead and color up my images from the Froggie stamp set. I stamped them onto Neenah White carstock 80lb with a copic safe ink and colored with copic markers. Then using the coordinating die, I cut them out with my big shot machine.
I will using the Spinners die to cut out my slider piece. This die has a lot of other fun ways to make slider cards. My grass piece I will add foam tape to so it gives my froggie room to jump. To create the slider, I will add a small piece of foam tape to a penny, line that up through the slider hole and add my froggie. You can use an anti-static powder tool to remove any stickiness from the sides and this will help the froggie move a little better.
I have a video detailing how I created everything and you watch that either down below or on my youtube channel. Lots of great tips in there!
