Welcome everyone! I fell in love with this set the second I saw Dawn do a video with it. It has a gorgeous design and I adore these sentiments!
I pictured a nice tropical scene for the Flock Yeah stamp set. To do this, I started by creating my background. Using a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock, I ink blended Salty Ocean, Cracked Pistachio, Scattered Straw and Spiced Marmalade Distress ink. Then spritzed with water for the water droplet effect.
I diecut my ink blended background from the Stitched Rectangle die and also diecut the word Fabulous from the middle of the panel.
For my images, I stamped onto Neenah White cardstock 80 lb. with a copic friendly ink using my Misti tool. Then, I colored with my copic markers and diecut using the coordinating die.
I stamped the sentiment onto Black cardstock with clear ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I only wanted the one word, “Flocking” so I trimmed that down to just a strip.
To put the card together, I added foam tape behind my ink blended panel and added to a Black cardstock base. I also added my images and popped up the Flamingo with some foam squares. To tie it all together, I added some beautiful sequins from the Like Magic mix from Neat & Tangled.
This card screams summer to me ! I hope you enjoyed it!
