Copic Coloring Geraniums – Pretty Pink Posh

Welcome back everyone! I have a beauty to show you today! Over the next couple weeks I’m going to be showcasing products from Pretty Pink Posh starting with this beautiful Geranium stamp set.
To start off my process, I’m going to stamp numerous flowers from the Geranium stamp set onto Neenah white cardstock 80 lb. using copic friendly ink. I’ve been really loving bright summer colors lately so that was the direction I was trying to go in. You know how you have that little voice in your head that tells you when you should stop? Yeah… I don’t think I have one of those haha. I finished coloring the flowers with the orange combination and thought I needed a little more depth so I came back in with my R39 copic marker. I love the depth it added but it wasn’t quite as summery as I was originally picturing. That’s ok!
I then added some white dots to the center of the flowers with a white gel pen. I used the coordinating die to diecut my images out.
For my front panel which measures 4″ x 5 1/4″, I diecut out this stitched window using the Window Frame die from Pretty Pink Posh. Before attaching anything, I stamped my sentiment from the Hummingbird Thanks stamp set right above my window frame. If you haven’t seen the Hummingbird stamp set yet, you MUST check it out . I’m so excited to finally get my hands on it!
I lined the back of this panel with foam tape to add dimension to my window. I attached this to another piece of white cardstock that also measured 4″ x 5 1/4″ which is the same size as my front panel. This was then attached to an A2 size notecard that I created from Seaglass cardstock.
Before getting out any glue, I started to line up where I wanted my flowers to be on my card. Once I had an idea, I sort of left them there and started attaching them one by one starting with leaves in the corner. I added tape runner to one corner of the leaf and a small piece of foam tape to the other. Since the panel is already popped up I didn’t need to add foam tape to the whole leaf. I then moved to the flowers that will be behind and repeated the same process by adding tape runner to one side and foam tape to the other.
To add a little more interest and tie in the Seaglass cardstock, I added some Seaglass jewels.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card and found it inspiring!
