Welcome everyone! Today I’m sharing a card I created by doing some watercoloring with my zig markers featuring the Bouquet Builder 6 Stamp set from Waffle Flower.
I started by stamping my images onto Bristol Smooth card stock with embossing ink. Then heat embossing with Champagne Embossing Powder. I have found Bristol Smooth card stock works best when working with Zig markers. The embossed lines create a barrier for me and help control my watercoloring.
I use the following colors to watercolor my image: Lemon Yellow No. 051, Light Green No.041, Tea Rose No. 220, and Light Carmine No. 021. I love how I can get multiple shades just by how much (or little) water I add. Once this was dry, I used the coordinating die to cut out the images.

I’m going to attach my images onto a piece of Nautical card stock from Hero Arts. Any hanging off the edge I can trim off with scissors. It will give the background a more natural feel if you have some hanging off the edges.
I heat embossed the sentiment in Champagne Embossing powder onto Nautical card stock to match my background. Then I used the A2 Layering die to cut it out. Using the next size up from this on the A2 Layering die, I die cut a piece of Gold Glitter card stock. I layered these two pieces together with liquid glue and attached to the card front with foam tape.

To finish off the card, I added Lotion Potion Dream Drops to tie in the pink from the flowers a little more.
I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration! This is such a beautiful stamp set!

So beautiful. That dark blue is awesome. It’s the new black.
