Hello friends! If you love coordinating dies as much as I do, you’re going to love this! Simon Says Stamp has just released coordinating dies for the Tim Holtz Holiday Collection, and I have some inspiration to share with you today!

For my card, I created with the Wonderment stamp set, which features this amazing vintage car carrying a Christmas tree. There’s just something about that old-fashioned holiday look that I absolutely love!
I started by stamping the image onto white cardstock using an alcohol marker-friendly ink and then colored it with my OLO markers. Once the coloring was complete, I used the coordinating die to cut out the image. I also added a little Liquid Tinsel in Tarnished to the Christmas tree for some extra sparkle and shine. Such a fun little detail!

For the background, I kept things pretty simple. I lightly blended Sea Foam ink onto a piece of white cardstock using a blending brush. This added just a hint of color without taking away from the main image. I popped up the vintage car with foam adhesive to give it some dimension.
To bring in a little winter magic, I splattered Perfect White Splatter Medium across both the background and the colored image. I love how this gives the appearance of falling snow and really adds to that nostalgic Christmas feel.

For the sentiment, I reached for the Christmas Spirit stamp set and chose the beautiful, scripty “Season’s Greetings” greeting. The style of the lettering fits perfectly with the vintage look of the car! I stamped it in black ink, cut it out with the coordinating die, and popped it up on the card front.
I absolutely love how this card turned out! It’s a great example of how you can create a clean and simple Christmas card while still capturing that beautiful vintage holiday charm. The little details, from the sparkle on the tree to the snowy splatters, really bring everything together.

Be sure to head over to Simon Says Stamp to check out the rest of the coordinating die release for the Tim Holtz Holiday Collection! There are so many wonderful possibilities for bringing these holiday images to life.
Thanks so much for stopping by today, and I hope this inspires you to get a little creative with your holiday cardmaking!
