Simon Says Stamp Celebrate You Release!

Welcome everyone! I’m excited to be sharing one of the new products from the Celebrate You release from Simon Says Stamp. I’m going to be featuring the beautiful Daisy Bloom Die.

I have a video introducing the Daisy Bloom die and creating a colorful card. You can view the video down below or HERE on my Youtube Channel.

I’m going to be ink blending Candied Apple, Ripe Persimmon and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxides onto a piece of Bristol Smooth card stock with Life Changing Blending Brushes.

I will die cut one of the Stitched Rectangles from a piece of Neenah Solar White card stock. Then I will die cut my Daisy Bloom from my stitched panel.

I’m going to spray my ink blended panel with a Sheer Shimmer Spray to add some sparkle to my background. Then I can attach my die cut panel to the ink blended panel using Gina K connect glue.

I finish off the panel by adding foam tape to the back and attaching to an A2 size card panel made from Tangerine Twist card stock.

My sentiment comes from the Tiny Words Encouragement stamp set. I stamp onto Tangerine Twist card stock using Gina K Embossing Ink and heat emboss with Simon Says Stamp White Embossing Powder.

Here are a few more examples that I created using the Daisy Bloom Die. I die cut it multiple times from white card stock to reveal a rainbow background.

Don’t forget you can catch the video HERE on my Youtube channel.

Here is a list of the supplies I used for the card in my video. Affiliate links are used at no additional cost to you.

Hero Arts Flower Garden

Welcome back everyone! I just came back from an amazing trip in Ohio at the Simon Says Stamp Create Event. I’ll share more about that in another post but this was a stamp set I picked up there and just needed some color therapy after a long day.

This stamp set is Flower Garden from Hero Arts. I have a lot of ideas for this one but decided to start with ink blending.

I stamped the image onto Bristol Smooth card stock using clear ink. I sprinkled on White Embossing Powder and heat set with my heat gun.

Next, I ink blended (a dab) of Seedless Preserve and then Aged Mahogany, Spun Sugar and Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink. I wiped away the excess ink to reveal the bright white embossing powder.

For the sentiment I used the new Sentiment Strips. These come in 4 sheets and have a huge variety of sentiments already preprinted on card stock. You just trim and add to you project. I popped mine up with foam strips for dimension.

For finishing touch, I added some Clear Jewels using my jewel picker and Lawn Fawn Glue.

Easy peasy and I got my color therapy in. I just couldn’t wait to play with some of the products that I picked up!

Hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration. Affiliate links are used at no additional cost to you. Supplies are listed below.

Fresh Bloom from Simon Says Stamp

Welcome back everyone! It’s time for the March release from Simon Says Stamp called Fresh Blooms. There are amazing new products available for purchase!

I’m using this precious word die called Bunny Kisses. As soon as I saw this I knew it would pair nicely with the Beautiful Day stamp set.

I started my card by stamping the images from the Beautiful Day stamp set around the edge of a piece of Neenah White card stock using Clear Embossing Ink. Then I heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Next, I ink blended Worn Lipstick, Mustard Seed, Tumbled Glass and Shaded Lilac using a blending brush from Picket Fence Studios. I adhered this panel using foam tape to an A2 card base I made from #110 Neenah White card stock.

This beautiful word die is die cut from White Glitter card stock and also two more times from white card stock. I layered them together and added to the front of the card with Simon Says Stamp Tacky Glue.

For a finishing touch, I added some jewels around the card.

Hope you enjoyed today’s card and be sure to head over to Simon Says Stamp to check out the entire release. It’ll knock your socks off!

Wooly Lucky – SSS March Kit

Welcome back everyone! I’m still playing with the Simon Says Stamp March Card Kit. These are so jam packed with value for a very reasonable price!

My card today is featuring this fun llama stamp set Wooly Lucky that comes in the kit. What does a llama have to do with St. Patrick’s Day? Who cares lol… it’s cute! I stamped my image onto Neenah White card stock and colored with copic markers. I didn’t have a coordinating die so I fussy cut my image out.

I have this amazing light green card stock called Green Apple that came in the kit in which I’ll use for my card base. I trimmed a piece of white card stock down to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and die cut a heart from the center using the Nested Heart dies. I layered the back of the white card stock with foam tape and attached to my card base.

In the kit comes a huge sticker sheet. I attached the rainbow and clouds stickers to some white card stock and trimmed them out so they have a nice white border. Then added them to the center of my heart with foam tape.

I attached my cute llama to the front of my card. My sentiment is from the Amazing stamp set which is also in the kit or you can purchase separately. I stamped it on Sunshine card stock with Clear Embossing ink and heat embossed with Brutus Monroe Alabaster white. I trimmed the sentiment out with the Sentiment Labels die and added to the front of my card with more foam tape. Yes, I love foam tape.

March Card Kit- SSS

Welcome everyone! I have a card to share today using one of the stamp sets from the March Simon Says Stamp card kit.

When I first saw this stamp set, I immediately thought of fireworks. I stamped creating my background by heat embossing my images and sentiments with Brutus Monroe Sterling Embossing Powder. Using the Misti tool made this go real quick.

Then I created a galaxy background by ink blending, Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot distress ink on Neenah White card stock. I used my Picket Fence Studios Life Changing brush for all of the ink blending to achieve a smooth blend.

I flicked on water and bits of white paint for stars. This card was pretty quick to pull together but I adore the sentiments! They are so up-lifting. You can purchase the card kit which has amazing value or you can purchase the Amazing stamp set separately. (Seriously that’s what it’s called)
