Cards Distress Inks Simon Says Stamp Stencils

Just A Note Blog Hop Day 1

So happy you are stopping by today! I’m part of the Simon Says Stamp Just A Note Blog Hop featuring their latest release!

Check out this fun FREE gift!

My card today features the Summer Bouquet stencil.

I started by ink smooshing a background using Distress Inks. The colors I used were Squeezed Lemonade, Picked Raspberry and Salty Ocean. The cardstock I’m using is the Hero Arts Watercolor paper.

After the panel is dry, I stenciled in the design using those same colors of Distress Inks and applied it with a blending brush.

I added white gel highlights to make it pop a little more from the card.

I finished off the card with a sentiment from the Retro Wishes stamp set. I stamped this in Versafine Black ink using my Misti.

I embellished with a few Clear Quartz Sequins from Gina K Designs.
