Welcome back everyone! I have a super cute card to share using the Froggies stamp set from C.C. Designs and adding a little light stenciling. Join me!
How cute is this stamp set right?! I took a few images from the Froggies stamp set from C.C. Designs and stamped them onto Neenah white cardstock with Simon Says Stamp Black Ink. Then colored with copic markers and die cut using the coordinating die set with my Big Shot.
For my background, I’m using Bristol Smooth cardstock and the new Grassy Edges Stencil from Simon Says Stamp. I will mask off part of the stencil so I’m just using the rounded grassy edges portion. Then I lightly ink blend with an sponge dauber using Cracked Pistachio Distress ink. I’ll remove the stencil and add some clouds with the Clouds for Days Stencil and Tumbled Glass Distress ink.
I can then run this through my Big Shot using the Small Dotted Rectangled Die to add a dotted border. I’ll also get my sentiment stamped out using my Misti tool before adhering my card together.
To complete my card, I’ll attach my ink blended background to a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ card base using Simon Says Stamp Ivory cardstock. I added craft foam in between for dimension. I die cut a Stitched Scallop Circle from Ivory cardstock as well to add a little interest to my card. Then I can add my cute little critters to my scene!
