Lawn Fawn Bonus Day! I Like Naps, Mermaid For You Flip Flop, Duh Nuh Flip Flop

Hello everyone! I hope you’ve been enjoying all the inspiration I’ve shared using the new release from Lawn Fawn. The entire release is now available for purchase at Lawn Fawn and don’t forget, for a limited time, you can receive a FREE gift with a purchase of $60 or more!

Today is a little bonus day and I have some inspiration to share!

Welcome to the flip flops! I love the flip flop collections from Lawn Fawn because I am not good at creating mirror images lol.

First let’s take a look at Duh Nuh Flip Flop. It’s no secret I’m a fan of shaker cards lately and this seemed like a perfect time to do one. The shaker bits really look like bubbles in the background.

The background is first ink blended with Broken China and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks. I added a few elements from the Mermaid For You that I stamped in Peachy Keen and Merman Ink to set the scene for the bottom of my ocean.

Have you checked out the embellishment section over at Lawn Fawn? They really have a great variety including Round Iridescent Gems and Majestic Confetti.

I combined the Duh Nuh flip flop with the original Duh Nuh stamp set and thought a speech bubble would a great way to add a sentiment.

I colored the sharks in copic markers: BG49, BG13, BG11, G000.

I thought adding the scalloped frame softened the look of the card.

Next we have the Mermaid For You Flip Flop combined with the original Mermaid For You stamp set.

I apologize I didn’t write a ton of details down about this card. Sometimes I create and then put things away before actually writing everything down lol..

I hope you enjoyed today’s bonus inspiration!

I also have a video featuring the new products that you can view HERE on my Youtube channel.
