Hello everyone! This week Waffle Flower Crafts and  Tombow have teamed up to bring you a whole week of inspiration using products from both of these companies! Be sure to also visit the Waffle Flower Blog for more inspiration!

There is also a giveaway to check out over on the Waffle Flower Instagram account and the Tombow Instagram Account so don’t miss out!

I will admit, I had never tried Tombow markers before until now. I just have one question … why didn’t anyone tell me how awesome these are!? I’ve been exploring with different watercolor mediums and for some reason never thought of trying out Tombow markers. Boy have I been under a rock!

I started out by stamping my images from the Bouquet Builder 6 stamp set onto Bristol Smooth cardstock with Embossing ink. Then heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.

I used the Tombow markers to add a little color to the images and then with a damp paint brush, pulled the color throughout the petal. These are very easy to use, lots of colors and super affordable.

I used the following colors for my images: 126, 245, 925, 403, 885, 055 which come from the Celebration and Retro Collections.

Once my images were completely dry, I used the coordinating die to cut the out.

For the background, I lightly ink blended Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink onto Mermaid cardstock. Then layered my card front using Fog and White cardstock.

The beautiful sentiment that I heat embossed in Gold onto Black cardstock comes from the Oversized Hello stamp set.

I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration! I highly recommend giving the Tombow markers a try!
