Cards Paper Glaze Picket Fence Studios Stencils

Picket Fence Studio March 2020 Release

Welcome everyone! It’s time for the new release from Picket Fence Studios!

I have quite a few projects to share with you starting off with this amazing Angelfish Stencil. Pixie Spray comes in very handy especially with stencils like these.

I sprayed the back of the stencils with the Pixie Spray and then ink blended Twisted Citron Distress Oxide over the fish.

Around the fish, I ink blended Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Ink. After removing the stencils, I trimmed the panel down and added to a white card base.

The sentiment comes from the new Wentletrap Shell Scene stamp set.

Next we have the stamp set Things of the Sea Floor. Such a great scene building image that coordinates with a few other new stamp sets in this release.

I colored a few of the images with copic markers and used the coordinating die to cut them out.

I added the images to a background I created by ink blending Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide inks. The heat embossed sentiment comes from a previously released stamp set called A Dose of Vitamin Sea.

Next we have new Mermaid Scales stamp set. I used Ocean Poppy and Agapantha Purple Paper Glazes on Arctic card stock to create an ombre look.

Just look at that shine!

I finished off the card but adding a sentiment from Smile Be Wrinkle Free stamp set.

My last one to share today is this amazing A Whale of a Tail Coverplate. It die cuts this fabulous scene!

I die cut a few of these using white cardstock and adhering down with spray adhesive. To create this look, I attached a couple down to a white card base. Then I colored in the areas with copic markers.

I hid all of my lines but adding a plain white one that I had die cut.

Hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration! I’ll have more to share next week!
