Cards Gina K Designs

Autumn Wreath Builder – Gina K Designs

Today I’m sharing a couple cards I put together using the amazing Wreath Builder Stencil and Autumn Wreath Builder stamp set from Gina K Designs.
Have you ever had those times where nothing you do seems to look right? Yep – that would be me lately. My ideas are just not coming out the way I want them to. So to jump start my creativity I’m playing with the Wreath Builder. It is seriously so simple! The possibilities are literally endless with it! Make a wreath out of anything!
I decided to play with the Autumn Wreath Builder stamp set. I may secretly be wishing for Fall right now. It actually is my favorite season ever. The colors are gorgeous, the weather is perfect – what is not to love about Fall? Anywho,  to help me decide on ink colors for my wreath, I dug out my swatch book that I created of all the Gina K inks that I have. I have full set syndrome so I have all of Gina’s inks.
I’ve also been collecting Gina’s amazing cardstock. It is a great weight and the colors match the inks perfectly. No hard thinking involved. Easy Peasy!
So for my first card, I used Fresh Asparagus and Sandy Beach cardstock. For my wreath colors, I used Honest Mustard, Fresh Asparagus and Jelly Bean Green ink. I heat embossed the  sentiment onto Fresh Asparagus cardstock and die cut using the Small Double Stitched Circle die.
For my next card, I used Charcoal Brown and Honey Mustard cardstock for my bases.
The wreath is stamped with Warm Cocoa, Honey Mustard and Fresh Asparagus ink.
I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder onto Charcoal Brown cardstock and die cut with the Small Double Stitched Circle die. This is then added to the middle of my card with foam tape for dimension.
I finished off both cards with some beautiful sparkly jewels from Pretty Posh Posh.
If you haven’t had a chance to invest in the Wreath Builder I highly recommend it. You could make a wreath with flowers, stars, words, really anything!
