Welcome everyone! I have a ton of inspiration to share with you today featuring the new release from My Favorite Things!
I’m kicking it off with what I consider my crown jewel from the release. I love everything I made but this card is my favorite! It’s featuring the NEW Hydrangeas in Bloom stamp/die set.

This set is a cluster of Hydrangeas that you can pair with any sentiment you have in your stash. I did one of my favorite techniques which is heat embossing the image in gold embossing powder onto Bristol Smooth cardstock. Then I water colored my images with my Zig Markers.

I can’t resist adding an ink blended background. I used Tumbled Glass, Chipped Sapphire and Ground Espresso Distress Oxide Ink, then splatted with water and Liquid Stardust.
My large Thank You is die cut from Sugar Crystal Glitter cardstock and attached with liquid glue.

Next up I have a cheerful birthday card featuring the Happy Happy Happy Birthday and Birthday Buds stamp set. The Birthday Buds has such cute party critters on it with lots of great birthday sentiments.

Once again, using my Zigs, I watercolored a rainbow background over my heat embossed sentiment.

Creating this card made me so ready for Spring. The Freshly Picked die set has greenery, a jar/watering can and a few different floral elements that you can customize to any color.

I kept the background very clean and simple, only adding my Aqua Shimmer Pen to the florals for a little sparkle.

Since I’m always in need of birthday cards and I know my friends and family love flowers, I heat embossed a sentiment from the Birthday Buds stamp set.

When creating birthday cards, it’s really hard for me to NOT make a rainbow. It’s just so cheerful and works for anybody.
Here I heat embossed the fun Number Jumble background stamp and ink blended with Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, Salty Ocean and Wilted Violet Distress Inks.

After coloring my images from the Birthdays Take the Cake stamp set and die cutting out with the coordinating die, I used the Sketch Challenge to arrange them on my background.
The sentiment that is heat embossed in white onto black cardstock is from the Sweet Shop stamp set. I thought it matched perfectly with my mixing bowl and spoon.

It would be wrong of me to share inspiration without using Moonstone Glimmer Paste. You just can’t go wrong with it and I knew it would be perfect for this You Take The Cake die. The die is FREE with a $60 purchase from My Favorite Things!

Keeping it all pretty simple, I ink blended Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade and Mustard Seed Distress inks onto white cardstock. Then applied Moonstone Glimmer Paste over the ink blended area.
I’m one of those people that have to have all those little pieces of the letters put back in (like the “O” and the “A”). To make this easier for me, I attached the back of my die cut panel with acetate. After adding foam tape, I attached to my card front. You could very well turn this into a shaker card but I let the Glimmer Paste have the spotlight.

Last but not least is the Happy Birthday To You Dienamics paired with this adorable bunny from the Birthday Buds stamp set.

Thank you for sticking with me on this long post but I hope you were inspired by it. Even though it seems like I shared a lot, there is more available in the release then I’m showing here so be sure to check it out down below!
