Welcome back to Day 2 of Inspiration with the Neat & Tangled November 2019 Release! I have a card to share today that was a labor of love but really fun design.

CARD DETAILS
Today’s card involves a lot of heat embossing. I first started out by copic coloring my image from the Classic Christmas stamp set and cutting out with the coordinating die.
Next, I heat embossed the Holiday Wishes background stamp onto Cranberry, Palm and Pitch Black cardstock with white embossing powder.
Using my paper trimmer, I trimmed those background panels into thin strips. I put down dot runner on a piece of white cardstock that I had trimmed down to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and started laying down my strips.
I trimmed off any excess and attached my panel to craft foam using Connect glue.
I then added my strip panel to a white card base and attached the floral image to the card front with dot runner.
Also note that I have a ton of strips left from these backgrounds that I cut down so I could make multiple cards from this design! I’m also really loving this color combo for Christmas.

Wow!! That IS a lot of embossing (& white can be hard!), but it sure does give that WOW factor. This is just beautiful. And that text BG stamp is my fave.
A lot of work but well-worth the effort.
