I have a video walking through what’s new and sharing my cards from the past week. You can view the video down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.
I have one more card to share that I created using the To The Stars stamp set. I couldn’t resist coloring up this cute little fairy in a rainbow dress. I kept the card clean and simple and added the word Awesome that I die cut from glitter card stock.
I hope you enjoyed all the inspiration I’ve shared with you this week.
I add some stars to the background using Grape Jelly ink. I’m kind of on a tone-on-tone kick right now and loving how this sky is looking!
My images are from the To The Stars stamp set and All the Bunnies. I stamped them onto Neenah Solar white card stock with copic friendly ink. Then colored with copic markers and cut out with the coordinating dies. I also stamp some of the puffy clouds onto Lovely Lavender card stock with Black ink and die cut out.
Now I can assemble my elements to my card to create this beautiful sky scene. I love the little bunny looking up at the moon. One final touch is adding a few sequins from the Enchanted sequin mix.
I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration! The release is tomorrow! Are you ready?
Welcome back to Day 3 of the Neat & Tangled April 2019 release! I hope you are enjoying all of the amazing inspiration we’ve been sharing with you. Today we are showcasing the gorgeous Receding Background red rubber stamp. There are so many possibilities with this one!
For my card today, I created a subtle background and paired it with the Lotus Flowers. I stamped the Receding Background onto Sage Green card stock with Sage Green Ink. I was really surprised how awesome this Sage Green is! I love tone-on-tone looks. I trimmed this panel down to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and added to a white A2 size card base
I stamped the Lotus Flowers onto Neenah Solar White card stock with copic friendly ink. Then added some shading with my copic markers. I wanted to keep the flowers mainly white so I used my Warm Grays to add light flicks. I die cut the flowers out with the coordinating die and attached to the front of the card with foam squares.
Welcome back to day 2 of the April 2019 Neat & Tangled release. Did you enjoy yesterday’s preview? Just wait til you see today’s!
This set is called Dream Big. Another adorable set and it coordinates so perfectly with the To The Stars stamp set. My images are stamped on to Neenah Solar White card stock with copic friendly ink and colored with copic markers. I am loving these puffy clouds!
Welcome back everyone! Today is exciting because we are starting previews to the April 2019 release for Neat & Tangled. I’m not gonna lie, I may have went over board with examples. This is such an adorable release I just couldn’t stop playing with it!
My card today also has an accompanying video that you can watch down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.
I’m one of those people that creates cards and then I’ll go back and remake one for a video. My first card here, was the first one I created. The card I remade for the video came out a little different and I’ll have those pictures at the end of the post.
Today we are featuring the stamp set To The Stars. How precious is this set? I stamped my images in copic friendly ink onto Neenah Solar white card stock and colored with copic markers. Then used the coordinating die to cut them out.
For my next card, I used a few of the other images off of the To The Moon stamp set. There is a constellation that you can die cut out or the set also includes an individual line and stars so you can create your own constellation.
For the background, I ink blended Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink. Then applied Moonstone Nuvo Glimmer paste over the top.
I die cut a circle from a panel of white card stock and added over my textured background (once dry) with foam tape. I added this panel to an A2 size notecard made from Moonstone card stock.
The sentiment is heat embossed in white embossing powder on Moonstone card stock and cut out using the Skinny Strips die.
Now here is the card I recreated in the video. I was a little more heavy handed when it came to applying the inks which changed the look of the card a little. It’s amazing how even though using the same colors, just by changing your pressure, you can change the look of your card.
Both cards are equally adorable!
Alrighty that’s it for today from me. Be sure to check out my tutorial HERE using the To The Moon stamp set.
