CARD DETAILS
I love creating scenes with my magic picture changers and Lawn Fawn carries some amazing Before & After stamp sets. I am trying to stretch my stamps a little and create a scene using a regular stamp set. For my card today, I’m using Lawn Fawn SET SMOOTH SAILING Clear Stamps and Dies ZLFSS( SSS ),Lawn Fawn LIFE IS GOOD Clear Stamps LF680( SSS ) and Lawn Fawn SET BUTTERFLY KISSES Clear Stamps and Dies LF19BK( SSS ). I actually only used the clouds from Butterfly Kisses because I liked the variety in size.
My scene is going to change from just the lighthouse on the hill to the lighthouse shining it’s light out over the water. I used Lawn Fawn YETI Pigment Ink Pad Fawndamentals LF1003( SSS )for my light to shine.
My background is ink blended using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink Pad CHIPPED SAPPHIRE Ranger tdo55884( SSS ), Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink Pad BLUEPRINT SKETCH Ranger tdo55822( SSS ) and Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink Pad SALTY OCEAN Ranger TDO56171( SSS ) Distress Oxide inks. I added clouds to the background by creating my own stencil with the Lawn Fawn PUFFY CLOUD BORDERS Lawn Cuts LF915( SSS ).
The waves I die cut from Lawn Fawn BLUE JAY Cardstock LF1123( SSS ) with the Lawn Fawn STITCHED SIMPLE WAVY BORDERS Die Cuts LF1984( SSS ) die and I added the Lawn Fawn SANDY BEACH ACCENTS Die Cuts LF1980( SSS ) so I could tuck one of my boats in the waves.
Creating magic picture changer scenes are so addicting and fascinating!
The cute critters in the boats also come from the Lawn Fawn SET SMOOTH SAILING Clear Stamps and Dies ZLFSS( SSS ) stamp set. I paper pieced the sails using the Lawn Fawn REALLY RAINBOW SCALLOPS 6×6 Petite Paper Pack LF1860( SSS ).
I forgot to take a picture but I also have a sentiment stamped on the inside that reads ” I’m Here For You”.
