Decorative Ornaments – Pretty Pink Posh

Welcome back everyone! I have a card to share today using the Decorative Ornaments stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh.

There is also an accompanying video you can view down below or HERE on my Youtube channel walking through how I created this card.
CARD DETAILS
To start my card, I stamped my three ornaments in Simon Says Stamp Intense Black ink. I used my Misti tool to stamp my images which plays a key part in my technique for today. Once my images are stamped, I will leave my stamps on the Misti tool. Then I color my images with copic markers.
Once colored, I take my cardstock and put it back into the Misti. I ink up the images with Simon Says Stamp Clear Embossing Ink and heat emboss with Gold Embossing Powder. This gives my image a gorgeous gold outline. You don’t really want to try and color with the lines embossed as that can ruin your markers and also the alcohol ink can eat away at the embossing powder. It’s best to try and emboss after your color which is why the Misti tool plays such a huge part.
Once embossed, I die cut with the coordinating die. My background I stenciled on the English Brick Wall stencil with Pumice Stone Distress Oxide Ink.
The sentiment is from the Happy Snowman stamp set which I heat embossed with White Embossing Powder and then trimmed to a thin strip using the Sentiment Labels Die
I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration! If you are reading this on the day the card is posted be sure to head over to Pretty Pink Posh where they are having a Cyber Monday Sale!
