Hello friends! I’m so excited to share a fun project featuring the brand new coordinating dies created exclusively for Simon Says Stamp featuring Tim Holtz products!
I absolutely love having coordinating dies because they give me so many more creative options when cardmaking. Whether it’s adding dimension or popping images up on a card front, they make it easy to take a project to the next level.

For today’s card, I’m featuring the Sea Life stamp set. I stamped the images in black ink and colored them with alcohol markers before die cutting them with the coordinating dies.
For the background, I pulled out my alcohol inks and Yupo paper to create a colorful underwater-inspired panel. It’s always fun watching the colors blend and move with the blending solution. Once the background was dry, I splattered it with rubbing alcohol to add even more texture and interest.

After that panel dried completely, I applied White Rise & Shine Paste through the Dot Petal Stencil for additional detail and dimension. I then trimmed the panel down and adhered it to my card front using foam tape.

To finish the card, I stamped a sentiment from the Tiny Text Stamps set, heat embossed it in white onto black cardstock, and die cut it with the coordinating die. I love how the coordinating dies give perfectly cut sentiments that are easy to layer over the popped-up images for a clean, professional finish.
Be sure to check out the full release for even more coordinating die options and inspiration!
