Witch Way to the Candy – My Favorite Things

Getting back in the roll of challenges and today is for the sketch challenge over at My Favorite Things. I’m so excited to get my hands on this stamp set Witch Way to the Candy. I am obsessed with Halloween! I even have a video to share for this one but I apologize I didn’t talk at all during it lol…. my house is just too crazy but it will be better once the kids are back in school full time. I promise! All supplies listed down below.

I started out by stamping a bunch of images from this stamp set onto Neenah Solar White Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloring with my copic markers. Then I cut the all out with my Scan n Cut Machine.

Next, I worked on my distressed piece. I used Bristol Smooth cardstock and ink blended Chipped Sapphire and Seedless Preserve. I find I don’t mind regular distress inks as long as I blend onto the Bristol Smooth. Then I spritzed some water with my Tim Holtz distress spray bottle and blotted off with a paper towel. I trimmed that piece down to fit my card base.

The black piece of cardstock I die cut down with the Ocean Waves die and the sentiment is die cut from the Fishtail Sentiments. The sentiment is also from the Witch Way to the Candy set and stamp with Memento Black Tuxedo Ink. Everything is adhered down with my Tombow tape runner except the witch in which I used foam squares. The finishing touch is adding some Nuvo Glitter Drops Silver Moondust to act as stars.
