For my card today, I’m going to be using the All Star set which I thought was perfect timing with school getting back into swing. I also have a video for today’s card that you can view here on my blog or on my youtube channel
I stamped my cheerleader onto some Neenah Solar White Cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink which is a copic friendly ink. I used the misti stamping tool just in case I didn’t get a good impression the first time.  Then I colored up the image using my copic markers.
Once that was colored, I cut it out with my Scan n Cut Machine.
For my rainbow, I did some ink blending using the regular distress inks. I opted for the regular instead of the oxides because the oxides have kind of a chalky look to them because of their formula and I wanted something a little more brighter.  I used Abandoned Coral, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron and Peacock Feathers. Unfortunately, I started really big and didn’t leave enough room for my purple but that’s ok. I did all of this on Bristol Smooth cardstock. I find I don’t mind the regular inks so much as long as I use the Bristol Smooth – it’s a lot easier to blend!
Once that was done, I trimmed my piece down and ran it through my die cut machine using the Tickle Breeze die from Simon Says Stamp.  I used the Cheer Up sentiment from the All Star stamp set and started to adhere everything down. My cheerleader I used some foam tape to give it a little dimension.
My finishing touch was to add some Nuvo Glitter Silver Moondust drops to the open holes the die created.
