Hello friends! I’m so excited to share a card today featuring the Pristine Lilac 3D Embossing Folder from Simon Says Stamp—it’s such a stunning design and a perfect way to add elegant texture and dimension to your card fronts.
One of the things I love most about 3D embossing folders is how they instantly elevate a simple background into something extraordinary. For today’s project, I used the Gina K Designs Intri-Cut Machine to press the gorgeous floral design into my cardstock. The detail is absolutely beautiful!
To bring this floral background to life, I used large blending brushes and started by adding a soft base of Lilac ink. Then, I deepened the bottom portion with a touch of Orchid, creating a lovely gradient. To really make the flowers pop, I added some Amethyst ink using a mini blending brush, giving depth and detail to the petals.
For a little extra magic, I lightly misted the background with Golden Hour Solar Spray, which adds a gentle shimmer and catches the light beautifully without overpowering the design. Photos do not do it justice!
After trimming the panel down, I mounted it to a top-folding white card base using white pop-up foam for a clean, elevated look. To finish the card, I added a simple yet striking sentiment die cut from the Autumn Leaf Frames set, using matte silver cardstock for a touch of shine.
This card is perfect for so many occasions and really shows how a few thoughtful details can create a truly special handmade piece. I hope it inspires you to break out your embossing folders and blending brushes!
