I’m a little late with my blog post so I hope you got your hands on this amazing LIMITED EDITION Tim Holtz bundle .
I thought this Santa image was super cute so I stamped the image in copic friendly ink and colored in with copic markers.
Then I fussy cut the image out .
For the background, I am using the Moon Mask. I ink blended Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch and Black Soot distress oxide inks. For the moon, I used Antique Linen Distress Oxide inks.
I had masked off the bottom of the card with a Hill stencil so I could give my Santa some snow. I stamped the sentiment in Versafine Ink and then added the stars with the Glow Grit Paste. It really does glow in the dark!
Now for the edges, I had trimmed it down to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and went around the edges with my scissors wide open. This is a very old technique I used to do to rough up the edges. Open your scissors and then scrap it along the edges.
I also did this to a piece of brown cardstock.
Now the real fun part about this card is that I added the Santa to wobbler so he moves! It’s so cute! To be honest, I purposely added that wobbler to the Santa because I knew I would be sending this to Tim and he loves interactive cards lol!

Dear Mindy – This was one of my top 5 of all the cards that TH showed today during the LIVE broadcast. The colors, esp the blue sky that is glowing around the moon is exceptionally gorgeous. The Santa is colored expertly as well and the action wobbler made it over-the-top perfect. You should win some sort of award for this – it’s an absolutely AWESOME card!!
