Foliage Silhouette – Neat & Tangled

Welcome back everyone! Today I’m sharing a card featuring the Foliage Frame and creating a silhouette scene.

The Foliage Frame stamp set is one of my favorites. It has such beautiful designs that you can create an entire background with or stamp individually.

I started by masking off an area on my card with post it tape. Then I ink blended Lemon Drop, Fruit Punch and Thistle Hero Hues Reactive Inks.

Leaving the post it tape in place, I stamped the individual leaves from the Foliage Frame set using Altenew Obsidian Black ink.

I removed the mask and stamped the sentiment under my ink blended area. This sentiment comes from the Typed Sentiments stamp set. It has so many great sentiments on it and I adore the typed font.

I covered the bottom half of my card with a scratch piece of paper and spritzed on some water. The water reacts with the ink to leave those speckles. This reminds me of a bokeh effect.

I trimmed the panel down to 4″ x 5 1/4″ , added foam tape to the back and attached to an A2 size white notecard.

Hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration! Thank you for stopping by . Products used in today’s card are listed below.
