Hello crafty friends! I’m so excited to be joining Altenew in a blog hop celebrating their 9th Anniversary! How awesome is that!? We have inspiration to share with you and some amazing prizes!
I created a brand new card for today and it is featuring the Build-A-Garden Pristine Peonies bundle.
I started by stamping the image with Limestone ink using my Stamp Wheel. Then to color in the flower I used ONE color of ink for all the layers and that color is Baby Pink.
I used a small blending brush and different amounts of pressure so get three different shades.
For the leaves I used Limeade and Fresh Leaf ink.
I die cut out the image and added to an A2 card front that I lightly ink blended with the same Baby Pink and a large blending brush.
The sentiment comes from the Versatile Greetings Hot Foil set. I foiled it in gold and die cut out with the coordinating die. My peonies are popped up from the card front with foam tape for a little dimension.
Next I have a card that I’ve shared before on my blog but it’s one of my favorites.
This card features the Craft Your Life Watercolor Flowers.
