Rainbow Lucy C.C.Designs

Welcome back to my blog! I’m sharing today a card I made using Rainbow Lucy and Spotty Dotty Background from the February release at C.C.Designs. I knew the second I saw this background stamp that I wanted to dig out my distress inks and play… and that’s what  I did!
I started out by stamping the spotty dotty background with versamark onto my cardstock. I then heat embossed it with WOW bright white embossing powder. Next I dug out my distress inks! I lightly applied rainbow colors across the whole entire piece and then trimmed it down using the stitched rectangle die. I applied that piece to a piece of white cardstock, adhered some foam behind this mat and attached to my card base.
For my image, I also used the stitched rectangle die and then using my Misti stamping tool, stamped my image in the center.  I love to mat everything as it thinks it just adds a nice little “something” to the card. The sentiment I stamped from the Lucky Rainbow Sentiments and some added some colorful rainbow enamel dots.
I’m super excited how this all turned out!!
