Simon Says Stamp Holiday Sparkle Release Blog Hop Day 2

Welcome everyone to Day 2 of the Simon Says Stamp Holiday Sparkle Release Blog Hop!

I’m so excited to share some inspiration with you today. First, let’s check out a very special deal that Simon has for you!

Receive a FREE holiday zipper pouch with any purchase of $50 or more from Simon Says Stamp! Offer valid while supplies last until 11/13. I have one of these and it’s so adorable!

Now today I’m showing you how to ink blend with complementary colors. These colors together on a card are very eye appealing but don’t always blend together well. I will be showing you my little trick!

VIDEO

I have a video that you can view down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

The products I’m featuring today are the So Many Present background stamp and Amelia Snowflake.

The background was created by stamping the background in Versamark ink and heat embossing with Sterling embossing powder.

Next I’m ink blending Fairway and Cherry ink using blending brushes.

Be sure to watch the video on my blending trick!

I die cut the Amelia Snowflake from white cardstock and Luxe glitter cardstock.

For a sentiment I’m using the Reverse Missing You At Christmas. I only wanted a small sentiment so I trimmed one of the phrases down to fit.

I finished off with a few Iridescent Clear Drops adhered with liquid glue.

Hope you give this blending trick a try!
