Welcome everyone! It’s that wonderful time of year – the STAMPtember month long celebration with Simon Says Stamp has officially started! Woot! Woot!!
Before we get too far into my card project for you today, I have a little house keeping for you.
What is STAMPtember? It is a month long celebration featuring crafting/cardmaking and collaborations between some of your favorite companies. The products being released tonight are exclusive and can only be purchased at Simon Says Stamp. This release from Simon is bigger then their normal releases with tons of great new products. I will have projects and videos to share with you throughout the month. I’m so excited!
If one of these products go out of stock – they will restocked. Starting on September 3 are the collaboration sets. Those are designed by specific companies exclusively for Simon Says Stamp with a limited quantity. Once they are gone, they’re gone so if you like something – don’t hesitate!
VIDEO
I have a video to kick off this amazing celebration for you featuring the Etched Layered Daisy die set. I will be showing you now only how to create this cool background, but also how to quickly and easily add color to your die cuts. You can watch the video down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.
The Etched Layered Daisy die set is great multi-purpose set. It’s great for almost any occasion.
There really are tons of ways you could add color to your die cuts but I’m going to grab just a couple copic markers. I’ll be using a C2 and color right over the etched lines of the daisy. Then I’ll grab a trio of yellows to color the inside of the daisy. Simple. Quick. And super easy!

For the background, I’m ink blending Kitsch Flamingo, Dried Marigold, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Salvaged Patina and Wilted Violet. Then I’m going to add the Tap Dance Stencil over the top and add more color.

A great way to bring this daisy to life, is layer it up with foam squares. I love the dimension this provides.

I’ll be finishing off the card with a Reverse Sentiment Strip from the Sunshine and Rainbows set. Be sure to check out the VIDEO for all the fun how-to’s of this card.
I also want to share something super amazing being released tonight! Check out these new ink pads from Simon Says Stamp! You can purchase them in a full set or individually.

These are foam ink pads with labels on the top and also on the side of the ink pad with the true color too! Saves me time from doing it which means more time for crafting!

I love that these come in a trio which is great if you want to use them with layering stamp images.
I cannot wait to show you these in a video very soon!
Below I’m listing supplies that I used on my card project today but there is a TON more to check out!
Girl, those background colors are like butter! Smooth and gorgeous! You are so good at color blending. Gorgeous card. 💜💜💜
