Welcome everyone! You all know I love my ink blended backgrounds. Well tonight, I’m going to show you how to take your backgrounds from simple to incredible with a 3D Embossing Folder. This embossing folder is a part of the latest Simon Says Stamp Exclusive To The Moon release filled with fantastic new products!

You can catch the video down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

Let’s step up your ink blended background! This background was created with Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick, Festive Berries and Aged Mahogany Distress Oxide Inks.

To step this up, I’m placing the blended panel in my Geometric Lattice 3D Embossing Folder.

The combination of the 3D embossing and the gradient of color is amazing!

To add a little shimmer, I’m going to spritz this background with Sparkle Sheer Shimmer Mist. I do this lightly because oxides are reactive so I don’t want to get carried away.

I want to be able to really show off this background so I’m keeping the rest of it simple by just adding the Privet Branch die cut from white cardstock.

I have a ton of the Reverse Sentiment Strips so I just picked one that I thought matched the theme of my card and added it to the front of the card.

Be sure to check out the VIDEO for all the tips I share creating this background.

Don’t forget to check out the rest of the release! I’ll have ore inspiration to share very soon!
