VIDEO: Special Delivery! Stretching Your Stamps with Lawn Fawn

Welcome friends! When we buy a stamp set, we want to get the most out of it, right? So when stamp sets are a certain theme, I try to think of other ways to use them which is what I’m going to show you today.

I have a video showing my process that you can view down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

For today’s card I’m combing Scent With Love, Special Delivery and Love Letters stamp sets which are all Valentine themed sets. By changing up my colors and theme of the card, I can make a Christmas card.

I also used the Winter Skies stamp set which is a staple for me because those trees are great for scenes.

I used the mailbox from Happy Mail and decorated it with the Mini Wreath cut from Cilantro cardstock.

Of course we also need some snowy hills so I used the Stitched Hillside Borders.

My background is ink blended with Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide inks and then I die cut it with the Snowfall Backdrop. This is then added to white cardstock to give a snowy look.

Some of the copic combinations I used are:

  • Skunks – N6, N4, N2, R21
  • Letter – Green – YG09, YG07, YG03
  • Trees – G29, BG49, BG15 or BG23
  • Tombow ABT Pro Alcohol Markers – Red Tones

Now I made this into a Christmas scene but I think it would look great as a birthday scene too.

Thanks for visiting today and I hope this has inspired you to take another look at your stamp sets.
