Welcome everyone! I have some inspiration to share with you today to really stretch ONE stencil. Over the past week, as I’ve shared inspiration using the Lots of Hearts Background Stencil, I received many comments about how no one is ready for Valentine’s Day and they are still working on their Christmas cards. That is quite understandable as I have not started my Christmas cards yet either.
But today, I’m going to show you how you can use the Lots of Hearts stencil for year round card projects. Not just Valentine’s Day.
VIDEO
I have a video sharing all of my steps that you can view down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.
I provide full instructions in my video so below I will list the main supplies used. Please refer to the video HERE for more details.
XOXO I THINK YOU’RE AWESOME
- Lots of Hearts Background Stencil
- Giant XOXO
- Cerealsly Awesome Stamp Set
- Cardstock: White, Peacock
- Ink: Yeti Pigment Ink, Peacock, Jet Black
- Gelly Roll Pen

Change up your colors! You don’t always have to do red and pink. Watch the video HERE on how I was able to create that off-set shadow.

Hearts don’t always have to mean “I Love You”. You could send hugs and kisses to a friend with an encouraging message.

As you can see, hearts don’t always have to be about love or Valentines. They can be used for encouragement cards, thinking of you cards, or birthday cards plus many many more!
Have a wedding coming up? This stencil would look great for a wedding or anniversary card.
I hope this has opened up some ideas for you on how to use your heart stencils or really any theme type of stencil.
As I mentioned above, there is a FREE GIFT with a purchase of $60 or more from the Lawn Fawn website. I used the Simply Celebrate Hearts set a few times today and over the last week during Lawn Fawn Inspiration week.
This set is only available for a limited time and only while supplies last.

I’m listing below the supplies used in my video today but be sure to also check out the rest of the new release! So many fun things!
