Hello friends! It’s time for Valentine Release week with Lawn Fawn! On December 9, Lawn Fawn will be releasing 4 new stamp sets, 8 new die sets, and a new stencil. Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog to enter in all the giveaways as we share inspiration counting down to the release.
Today we are featuring the new Lots of Hearts Background Stencil.
You’ve probably seen this many times over the last week and that’s because I absolutely love it! While most of my cards have used it in a Valentines theme, it really can be used all year round.
Let me tell you, the absolute perfect color combination is using the Lawn Fawn Chili Pepper and Bubblegum inks. I also shifted the stencil one more time and added a layer of Fairy Dust Stencil Paste.
I loved this background so much and just couldn’t cut it up or cover it up. So I kept the image simple by adding stacked hearts with the Lacy Heart Stackable cut from Chili Pepper and Ballet Slippers cardstock.
I also added an image from Scent With Love stamp set.
All I needed to do to finish off the card was heat emboss a sentiment in white onto Chili Pepper cardstock and trim down with the banner sentiment die.
This IS stinkin’ cute!! Great card, Mindy!

So cute, Mindy! 💜 Just curious, but I have been receiving duplicates of your blog posts. I know you changed your blog design, but I am receiving both. I’m afraid to try anything to fix it. Any suggestions? It’s okay if it can’t be fixed. 😀 So sorry to be a bother.
I’m so sorry you’re getting duplicates. The correct email will have the entire blog post in it and the subject line will read NEW FROM MINDY EGGEN. The one you can unsubscribe from will only show a snippit of the blog post (which was why I switched things up). Hope this helps so you don’t keep getting bombarded with emails lol
You’re awesome so it’s not a sacrifice. 💜 I appreciate the tip and will make the move. Thanks again and Feliz Navidad to you and your family.
Yay! I did it, Mindy. I was afraid I would mess up my subscription to you, but it went well. Yay! No more duplicates!.Thank you so much.
Love your work!
I can’t seem to find the sentiment that you used on this fantastic card. Did u custom make it?
I think this one was actually part of a stamp set that was a free with purchase for a limited time. So Sorry.
Awwwe thanks for replying!
