Hello friends! It’s time for Valentine Release week with Lawn Fawn! On December 9, Lawn Fawn will be releasing 4 new stamp sets, 8 new die sets, and a new stencil. Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog to enter in all the giveaways as we share inspiration counting down to the release.
Today we are introducing the Tiny Gift Box Skunk Add and Valentine Hearts Border.
First up, I have some inspiration using the Tiny Gift Box Skunk Add On. While this is great for decorating the Tiny Gift Box, it’s also great for using on cards.
For my card, I created a scene using the Grassy Hill Stencil, Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide inks.

Using the Grassy Hill Stencil to mask off my grass, I created a sky by ink blending Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick. Then I added the Hearts Stencil over the top and blended on Yeti Pigment ink for a subtle look.

After everything was completely dry and I figured out placement, I was able to heat emboss a sentiment in white embossing powder. The word hugs is die cut 3 times from white cardstock and layered together for dimension.

Next we have the Hearts Border. This has so many possibilities to it!
I die cut my border from Gold Glitter cardstock, Guava and Mermaid cardstocks. Then I did some die cut in lay to alternate colors.

Since this is such a busy background, I kept the sentiment simple by creating my own customized sentiment using Rainforest cardstock and Cole’s ABCs.
