Cards Distress Oxide Inks Lawn Fawn

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week: Just Stitching Hearts, Little Note Line Border, & Happy Heart Line Border

Welcome everyone to Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week! On December 12th 3 new stamp sets, 7 new dies sets, a reveal wheel template and some fun new products will be available. Be sure the visit the Lawn Fawn blog to be entered in the amazing giveaways! Today we are introducing Just Stitching Hearts, Happy Heart Line Border and Little Note Line Border.

I started by creating my background by ink blending Scattered Straw, Worn Lipstick and Festive Berries Distress Oxide inks. Then I spritzed with water and also added flicks of Liquid Stardust. Once the panel was completely dry, I die cut using the Stitched Rectangles. I then used the Just Stitching Hearts which won’t die cut the hearts. It just adds some fun detail to the background.

I layered the background with white card stock and added to a card base made from Guava card stock.

The cute little hearts you see around the Stitching are die cut using the Heart Shaker Tag and added with liquid glue. The Happy Heart Day is die cut from Pixie Dust card stock because I can never resist using that gorgeous glitter card stock.

I added grass on the bottom die cut from Cilantro card stock using the Grassy Border Die.

I thought this cute little couple from the Winter Skies stamp set would be perfect. I stamped the images in Jet Black ink onto Lawn Fawn’s white card stock. Then colored with copic markers and die cut with the coordinating die. The copic colors I used are listed below

  • Fox – E97, E08, E19, W3, W2, W0
  • Raccoon – W8, W6, W4, W2, W0

Their scarves are pieced on by stamping onto Spiffy Speckles pattern paper and fussy cutting out the scarves. Then adding to my images.

Here’s some more inspiration that I shared earlier this week using the Line Borders.

Fabulous cards! Love your blended background with the stitched hearts and the raccoon and fox enjoying each other’s company and the sunset.

Love the glittery sentiment with your shaker heart! The stitched background is perfectly paired with it.

Sweet puffin scene with the mountains!
