Hello friends! Ok, so I did end up digging out my alcohol inks after watching Tim Holtz reveal new alcohol ink pearls on January 22. He is just so inspiring! Did I order the new colors? Of course I did!

Today’s card is using the regular alcohol inks to create a background. I use the Ranger Yupo paper which is a non-porous surface.

I took Fiesta and Dandelion, added some drips to the Yupo paper and also added some 99.1% Isopropyl (which you can pick up at any local store). I lightly moved it around with my puffer tool, then took another piece of Yupo paper and placed it on top of my background to smoosh the ink.

I am able to get 2-for-1 from this technique. Now my first pull didn’t work out like I wanted so I repeated those same steps but this time added a few drop of Alloy in Gilded.

I kept the front simple but just adding this sentiment from Simon Says Stamp die cut from Matte Gold card stock.
Wow!!!! Really Vibrant and Beautiful!!!!
I love this! What a great idea making two card fronts as well.
Very pretty and love the intense colors!
