Neat & Tangled Release Recap

Hey everyone! Welcome back! I hope you enjoyed all the inspiration this week featuring the September release from Neat & Tangled. As you may have seen, I had a ton of fun!

But wait! I have one more card to share with you.

In today’s card I’m featuring the Starry Sky stamp set and pairing it with an image from the stamp set To The Stars.

I started by creating my background. First, I ink blended a piece of Neenah Solar White 80 lb card stock using Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry and Tattered Rose Distress Oxide ink with Life Changing Blender Brushes.

Once this was dry, and you need to make sure it’s completely dry, I stamped the Starry Sky background in Embossing ink. Then heat set with Gold Embossing Powder. I trimmed the panel down and attached to an A2 card base made from white card stock.

My image comes from the To The Stars stamp set. I stamped it in Black Ink using my Misti Stamping Tool onto some Neenah Solar White 80 lb. card stock. Then colored with copic markers.

Once colored, I die cut using the coordinating dies and my Gemini Jr die cutting machine. I adhered my images to the front of the card with tape runner and foam squares. After I took the picture I realized I may have used the same color combo for a previous card I created using these fairies. I guess I really like this combo (lol!)

I finished off the card by adding a sentiment that I stamped onto Black card stock with Embossing Ink and heat embossing with gold Embossing powder.

In case you missed it, here is my inspiration from earlier this week. I’ll include links to these posts as well.

My first set of cards is creating a glowing background for the Lunar Moth from the Moon Magic stamp set. You can read more about this card (HERE) in a previous post. I also have a video that you can (HERE) on my Youtube channel showing how I created it.

My next card not only features the Moon Magic stamp set but the Moon & Stars stamp set as well. You can read more about this card (HERE) on my earlier post.

Then I have a card featuring yet again, the glorious Moon Magic stamp set paired with the Starry Background. You can read about this card (HERE) on my earlier post.

And last but not least, is my card from Day featuring the Moon Magic with the Grateful Heart stamp set. You can read about this card (HERE).

Whew! Tons of inspiration that I hoped spark your creativity. I really enjoyed this release and hope you do too.
