Cards Picket Fence Studios

Picket Fence Studios September Release

Welcome everyone! I’m coming to you today from sunny California! I’m spending the weekend here for Kathy’s Coloring Road Trip Challenge and Lawn Fawn and since time has been so crazy crunched for me, I had to bring my computer to get things ready for today.

I’m excited to share some cards featuring products from Picket Fence Studios new release! I’ll have more to share at a later date.

I could not resist the adorable squirrels from the stamp set A Little Nuts. I stamped the images onto white card stock with Crunchy Leaf ink and colored with copics markers for a no-line look. I used the colors E27, E25, E23, and E21.

Then I used the coordinating die to cut them out.

For my background, I added some grass using the Layering Grass Stencil and ink blending Shabby Shutters Distress Oxide ink with the Life Changing Blender Brushes. I then masked the grass area off and created my sky by ink blending Picked Raspberry and Dried Marigold Distress Oxide ink.

I added flicks of Rose Gold Glimmer Metallic Ink for a little shimmer.

My sentiment is also new this month! I stamped the Get Well sentiment in Versafine ink and heat embossed with Sparkled Embossing Powder from Hero Arts.

I finished off the card by adding my cute little squirrels. The bottom squirrel is popped up with foam squares for dimension. Seriously, don’t you just love their tails?!

Picket Fence Studios has some amazing large floral stamp sets that take up almost a whole card front so I was really excited to this new set come out. This next card is featuring the Christmas Poinsettia.

On a piece of Canson watercolor cardstock, I heat embossed the image with Gold Embossing Powder. Then I spritzed the area with water and added Catherine Wheel Shimmer Powder and let it spread all around.

After my card panel was dry, I fussy cut around the image and added foam tape. I added my poinsettia to a piece of white card stock and then the white panel to Cherry Red Card stock for my card base.

The Merry Christmas is also new this month. It is the Foiling Impression Merry Christmas. I actually have used this a ton but you’ll see that later. I used my Gemini Jr and Gemini Foil Press to foil the sentiment in gold, cut out with the coordinating die and attached to the card front.

I’m hoping to get the foiling in a video for you soon because it is a ton of fun and so addicting!

I’m listing all the products from the new release down below along with some other supplies I used.
