Cards Copics Distress Oxide Inks My Favorite Things

MFT June Release

I’m thrilled to be helping showcase the latest release from My Favorite Things! I have a lot to share so grab a coffee or tea and enjoy!

VIDEO DETAILS

I have a video creating the card shown below with these adorable ocean critters from the Friends with Fins stamp set. You can view the video down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

Aren’t these critters the cutest!? EEeeek! I love them! I love them so much I created TWO cards with them.

Here is the second card featuring the Friends with Fins stamp set. I used every image on the set and put them all in the ocean. I also used the new Under the Sea Die-namics which cuts out the ocean floor, some rocks, coral and seaweed.

For the ocean, I ink blended Cracked Pistachio, Blueprint Sketch, Faded Jeans and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide inks. The Friends with Fins coordinating die set also has this little wave die that I used to cut out some waves in my ink blended panel. This allowed me to tuck my whale into the water. How cool is that!?

The sentiment is also off of the Friends with Fins stamp set in which I heat embossed with white embossing powder onto Blue Denim card stock. I used the Slanted Sentiments Die-namics to cut it out and add to my card front.

Another stamp set being release is the super cute Fairy Good Friends. This set actually has three fairies on it but I decided to just use one as the focal point. I stamped with copic friendly ink, colored with copic markers and cut out with the coordinating die that you can purchase separately.

The background was created by ink blending Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire. I then used the In the Spotlight stencil and white pigment ink to add a light shining down on her.

Next up, we have the Fish You Were Here stamp set which actually coordinates perfectly with the Friends with Fins set. I decided to create a clean and simple card but making my own background with all the images on the set. Now… I messed up one of the fish. Can you spot which one? It’s kind of like Where’s Waldo.

To keep with the clean and simple look, I just used one color ink for each fish. I did no ink blending on them which was surprisingly difficult for me.

My Favorite Things has a few Die-manics sets with fun critters. They are adding to the collection with the Puppy Love set featuring this cute little puppy dog. You can customize the colors to whatever you like!

I added my puppy to a background I created by stenciling in the Staggered Pawprints stencil.

Next up is the Picnic Pals stamp set. How fun it would be to go on a picnic with these guys! I kept this one quite simple as well by stamping on white card stock, coloring with copic markers and cutting out with the coordinating die.

I added a soft hue of color by lightly ink blending Worn Lipstick to the center of the card. The sentiment is also from the Picnic Pals stamp set which I stamped in black ink. I then just adhered my images to the center of the card.

Last but not least is this big Thank You Die-namics. I adore the font on this and it’s nice and big. I went rainbow on this card. I die cut the Thank You from a rainbow variety of card stock.

I attached each of the pieces together, slightly offsetting each one, with liquid glue.

Whew! That was a ton to share all at once but I hope you stuck around til the end and enjoyed it.

Thank you MFT for inviting me to create with this amazing release!
