Cards Christmas Copics Gina K Designs

Day 1 Gina K Designs November Release!

Welcome everyone to Day 1 of the Gina K Designs November release Blog Hop! Absolutely amazing release right?! Today we are taking a closer look at two of the stamp sets. Wouldn’t be awesome to win a gift certificate from Gina K Designs? Leave a comment on each blog stop for your chance to win a $50 gift certificate!

My first card is showcasing one of the images from Old Fashioned Christmas stamp set.

I have a video how I created this card using the ink smooshing technique which makes for quick backgrounds for cards. You can view the video down below or HERE on my Youtube Channel.

I ink smooshed Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide onto a piece of Tim Holtz watercolor paper. Off on the side I mixed Perfect Pearls powder with a little water and flicked this onto my background with a paintbrush.

This gorgeous floral image is stamped onto White cardstock with Amalgam Ink and colored with copic markers. Then die cut out using the coordinating die.

I die cut the word Christmas 3 times from Black cardstock and layered them with Connect Glue for a little dimension. The Merry sentiment is from the Seasonal Sentiments stamp set and I heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder onto Black cardstock. Then trimmed down to a thin strip.

The second stamp set we are taking a look at is the Reasons to Celebrate. This is an Add On to the Wreath Builder stamp sets OR ….. you can use it all on its own. Take a look!

I’ve really been into the clean and simple look lately. It’s honestly hard for me to leave white space on a card. I thought this would be such a cute idea though for this stamp. I created tags using the Nested Tags Die.

These are so easy to create and really come in handy.
