Welcome back everyone! I have some adorable treat boxes to share with you today that I created using products from Lawn Fawn.
I also have a tutorial on how I put these together that you can view down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.
It is kind of my thing to make treats boxes for the teachers. They love the different creations I bring in to them and honestly it’s the least I could for them educating and caring for my children. My son not only has his regular teacher but since he is Autistic, he has a Special Education Teacher and many Aides that work with him throughout the day. They are amazing people! For the beginning of the year I made them these fun treat boxes that I filled with mini candy bars and life savers.
A lot of die cutting is involved with this project since I made 20 of them! I spread it out over the course of a couple days and gave them to the Teachers and Aides during Open House at the school. For the treat bag itself I used the Tote Bag die from Lawn that I cut from Mermaid Cardstock.
I also die cut the apple from Chili Pepper and Malt Cardstock using the Stitched Apple Frame and Outside In Stitched Stackables. The stem is cut from Paper bag Cardstock and the leaf is die cut from the new Holiday Glitter Paper Pack.
I used the So Owlsome stamp set to stamp out 20 owls and color with copic markers. I gave my owl some balloons from the Coaster Critters stamp and colored them as well. Then used the coordinating die to die cut all of them.
I tried to stencil on some clouds in the background but it doesn’t show much on the front of the box. I wanted to ground my image a little so I added a small strip of Cilantro Cardstock to the bottom of the box. I added all of my elements to one side of the box before adhering the box together. Makes things a lot easier. Then using 1/8″ scor tape, I completed my box.
These are such a great gift to show Teachers how much we appreciate them!
