Welcome back everyone! I have a super fun card to share using the new Circus Stamp set from C.C. Designs.
I’ve got to be honest, I’ve kind of been in a mojo funk. Mostly because summer is almost over and this is about the time the kids are bored lol .. but I’m so glad I pulled enough mojo together for this card. I love how bright and festive it turned out to be.
I took a piece of Neenah Solar white cardstock and stenciled in some balloons with Candied Apple, Mustard Seed, and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide. Each time I went to stencil a balloon, I masked off the other areas of the stencil with a post it note. Next, I stamped my image from the Circus stamp set using copic friendly ink. I probably should have done that the other way around but I wasn’t really sure how everything was going to come together. Thankfully it all worked out in the end.
I colored in the image with copic markers trying to use all colors of the rainbow. Next, I drew in some balloon strings coming from the balloon to the clown’s hands. I also added some detail to the balloons with a white gel pen. I trimmed down my cardstock to a thin panel and attached it a piece of striped patterned paper.
The sentiment is embossed with white embossing powder onto black cardstock. I love how it just pops right off the card! So bright and festive! This really helped me in my funk. I hope you enjoyed it too!

This is brilliant. I read your instructions about the balloons but I don't get it! If you stenciled them in, then masked them off how did you manage to get the clear look of the balloons wherethey cross each other to make the colour see throughish lol. Hope you understand this lol. Xx
A really bright and fun card. Love your colouring in of the image.
