Altenew Cards Stencils

Coral Charm with AlteNew

Mojo is back! Diving right in with the Build a Flower Coral Charm stamp set from AlteNew!
While I’ve been thrilled with how my last few projects came out, I finally feel like my crafty mojo is back! I had lots of ideas running through my head as I was creating this card so be warned – you may see it again down the road!
This card was pretty easy to come together mainly because Altenew makes it so easy! I’ve been starting to collect their inks. So far I have three sets of their mini inks.  They have such an assortment of colors but I picked some I figured I could use for florals.
I used all three of my sets while stamping these images. The sets are Cherry Blossom, Tea Party and Tropical Forest. They are gorgeous colors! I started with mini ink cubes because they are super affordable. If you find you like their inks I do recommend the bigger ink pads because they work a little easier for large images but as you can see the mini ink cubes worked just as well.
Once all stamped I used the coordinating die to cut them out. I’m in love with having coordinating dies lately. For the background, I used a black piece of cardstock for my base. The Ivory cardstock panel has the Kaleidoscope A stenciled in with Parrot ink.  I also took some diluted Perfect Pearls Gold and splattered that around my background. I added my images to my panel and foam tape behind the red floral image.
The sentiment is also from the Coral Charm stamp set in which I heat embossed with gold embossing powder onto black cardstock and trimmed down. This was added to my card front with foam tape as well.
What I really love about this set is I can do stamp layering with it OR I can use the outline image to color with watercolors or copics. You also get the coordinating die too! I think these are such a great deal!
Here is a Pinterest board I created that you can save for later if you are looking for inspiration!
