Hibiscus Frame – Simon Says Stamp

Welcome friends! Today I’m sharing a card using many products from the Simon Says Stamp Sending Sunshine release!

This is a beautiful card that doesn’t take a lot of time to create. I’m going to start off by creating my front panel. I used Bristol Smooth cardstock for the ink blending and Neenah Solar White to die cut a white panel with the Hibiscus Die. On the Bristol Smooth carstock, I ink blend Peacock Feathers, Tumbled Glass and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Ink. I trimmed this panel and the die cut piece down to 4″ x 5 1/4 to layer it onto black cardstock.
I used some liquid glue to attach my die cut piece to my ink blended panel. My suggestion is to use a spray adhesive. The reason I suggest this is because if you are using a liquid glue and it seeps out a little, it’s going to activate the oxide ink. I noticed it on my card later and it still looks amazing but just a word of caution if you are following my footsteps.
I die cut the Big Friend die from White Glitter cardstock and the shadow piece from black cardstock. The sentiment is from You Got This stamp set in which I stamped onto my card with black ink.
To add a little more interest and sparkle I added some sequins from the Moonshine Assortment from Simon Says Stamp and added some White Blizzard Nuvo drops to the center.
