Happy Monday! Today I’m sharing this fun set from C.C. Designs called Summer Fun. This was part of the June release and has so many great elements for scene building.
I’m going to start my card by creating the background. I’ll use a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock and ink blend Crack Pistachio, Mermaid Lagoon and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide ink. Then spritz with water and dab with a paper towel. I only ink blend on half of the cardstock.
Next, I’m going to take a piece of Neenah Solar white cardstock and cut off one side with the Winter Borders die. This will leave room for my blended background. I can then attach my white panel on top of the blended background.
My images are stamped onto Neenah white cardstock with copic safe ink. Then I’ll color with copic markers and use the coordinating die to cut them out. I’ll add my images to the side blended border with a tape runner.
This fun sentiment is also from the Summer Fun set. I love how it creates a scene just on the one side of the card.
