Ever have those moments where an idea just hits you and you have to make it right away or you’ll forget? That was me the other day. I’ve been playing around with some of my Stampanniething Stamps and remembered I had Liberty Super Girl which is a great design! I envisioned her with a galaxy background and WOW! I love how this came together!
I stamped my image onto Neenah white solar cardstock (80lb) with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Then I colored her in with my copic markers. Next, I cut her out with my Scan n Cut machine.
For my background, I ink blended Seedless Preserve, Peacock Feathers, Faded Jean and Black Soot distress oxides onto Neenah White cardstock. Then I spritzed with water with my distress sprayer and dabbed up with a paper towel. To finish off the galaxy look, I dabbed some white paint and a little water onto an acrylic block. I mixed together and then flicked it off the edge of the block with a paintbrush. I love this method of applying the white paint. It gives great splatter!
Once dried, I added this background piece to a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ white cardbase. The sentiment is also from the Liberty Super Girl set that I stamped onto a piece of white cardstock I cut out from the Slanted Sentiment Die. Liberty is attached to the card with some foam squares and even though it’s hard to see, I added a couple speckles of Moondust Nuvo Drops.
I hope you enjoyed this card! I adore how it came out and have it perched on my desk for now lol.
